Background

The Cambridge Art Salon nurtures art and creative ideas created by the public, for the public. Our policy of inclusion reaches out to both marginalised groups and individuals in the arts and creative sectors with a passion for the arts and creativity.

Our community galleries 2011-2016 were home to a range of contemporary art showcased by the public, community groups and artists across the local community and surrounding region.

The public at all stages of their creative practice are welcome to apply to the spaces to engage with the wider community to uplift, provoke dialogue or inspire. We particularly welcome those who use the arts to promote wellbeing and community.
